Greetings, fellow legionnaires

As we close out 2025 and look forward to 2026, I hope everyone had a good holiday. I saw many of you at our Xmas party, where we shared good vittles and enjoyed great camaraderie. My thanks to Scott for again offering his business to us free of charge and to Mishel Baughman for the spread, especially the two types of chilies. I also presented several letters of appreciation to my event chairs and awards for Legionnaire of the Year and Volunteer of the Year. Post Officer nominations will be coming up soon. Lee

January Meeting

Our January meeting will be on Tuesday, the 13th. It will be at HRC as usual. Was one of your New Year’s resolutions to make more meetings? Hope to see you there! Our speaker will be Kindra Gonzalez, LPC-S. She owns a therapy clinic that wants to talk about Be The One and how to help after the initial crisis. Kindra says her specialties are Humor, Sarcasm, Substance Issues, Couples & Families, and Ketamine-Assisted Therapy (KAP).

Post Christmas Party

We had a good time and enjoyed hanging out with all who made it. I presented several letters of appreciation to my event chairs for their role in making these events successful. I also presented two Commander Awards, A legionnaire of the Year Award to Post Adjutant Louis Wolting, and a Volunteer of the Year Award to Mishel Baughman. There was also a holiday sweater contest, which was won by Sergeant at Arms Ray Via II.
