The American Legion is the nation’s largest wartime veterans service organization, committed to mentoring youth and sponsorship of wholesome programs in our communities. Eligibility is open to any veteran who served at least one day of active military duty during eligible war eras and was honorably discharged or is currently serving.

Step-by-Step Guide

Application for New Members
Qualified veterans can start the process by completing our online membership form or visiting Hunter-Morris Post 911 in person. Please ensure you have your DD-214 ready for verification and your initial dues for processing.

Induction & Welcome
Our national membership committee reviews all new applications during our monthly meetings. Once verified, you'll be officially welcomed into the Legion and issued your membership card to begin accessing local and national benefits.

Renewing Your Membership
Existing members can renew annually through the MyLegion.org portal or by settling dues at our meeting location in Cedar Park. Staying current ensures you continue to impact the lives of local veterans and their families.
