Honoring Future Leaders in Cedar Park and Leander
The Boys State and Girls State Recognition Banquet, hosted by American Legion Hunter-Morris Memorial Post 911 in Cedar Park, celebrates the students selected to represent the Cedar Park and Leander communities at Boys State and Girls State. These programs, sponsored nationally by the American Legion, are among the most respected youth leadership initiatives in the country.
This year, Post 911 is proud to sponsor 12 boys and 11 girls from across Williamson County. The banquet recognizes their achievement, commitment, and potential as they prepare to participate in programs that teach how our system of government works through direct, hands-on experience.
