About the Course
The Matthew Morris Memorial Scholarship is open to all veterans and children of veterans attending LISD schools, including Charter Schools, pursuing a post-secondary education.
The scholarship is named for SPC Matthew Morris, a US Army soldier from Cedar Park, Texas, who fought in Operation Iraqi Freedom while assigned to the 2nd Squadron, 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment, Ft Hood, TX. SPC Morris lost his life when his vehicle encountered an improvised explosive device. Post 911 proudly bears his name as part of the official Post name
